Welcome! Many of you know me as our school librarian, but I have also been a classroom teacher! I taught in the classroom for 14 years. Since 2013, I have been in the elementary library, working with all grade levels. When our school needed more teachers in second grade this year, I was excited to help out. I am looking forward to teaching second grade for the rest of the school year!
I live in Fenton with my husband and two teenage sons. As a family, we like to travel or be outside riding bikes or hiking. The boys also love video gaming. My husband and I enjoy working on our house and yard (most of the time)! And of course, I love to read. We also have two cats that provide lots of entertainment! I look forward to getting to know you and your kiddos this school year. For news and information, I will post to our class Facebook group, as well as send out a weekly email.
